One of the skills offered in Infocomm Club is programming, where we teach you how to use languages like C++ & Python to create software. In addition, we will broaden your learning by teaching you computer science to further your understanding of computing technology.

Singapore National Olympiad of Informatics (NOI):

2024: 2 Silver, 2 Bronze
2023: 1 Silver, 2 Bronze, 2 Merit
2018: 1 Bronze, 4 Merit
2017: 1 Bronze, 4 Merit
2016: 1 Bronze, 4 Merit
2014: 1 Merit

DrCT (Design Thinking with Computational Thinking International Competition):

2023: 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 3 Bronze, 5 Honourable Mention

Programming Curriculum

Much like all of our other sectors, our Programming sector is mainly taught by our very own seniors, who are well versed in a multitude of programming languages. While mainly focused on C++, our syllabus occasionally dabbles with Python, C#, Arduino and HTML. Throughout each member's experience in VSIFC, valuable knowledge on programming will be picked up, enough to secure Bronze or Silver Medals for challenging and prestigious programming competitions such as NOI.

Our curriculum is meticulously planned and carried out by the seniors, and here is a glimpse into some of the things we cover:

Our Programming Sector is also getting better and better every year, with more growth and improvement expected to come.
